The beginning...

I can't cook, and I want to be able to!

The problem is I have never learnt from the beginning. I moved out at 21 and after 3 months of microwave meals I started to cook, but I have only ever followed recipes. I have never actually started from the beginning and understood how to cook the basics. Consequently I don't actually know how to cook, or even how cooking works! So I have decided to teach myself, with lots of trial and error, how to cook. I intend to start with the very basics and go from there! Fingers crossed...
