I love his style of cooking, how easy he makes it look and how enthusiastic he is about all things food related! I desperately want his house (see Jamie at Home), especially the amazing deep wooden kitchen surface, and I definately need an outdoor oven in my life! I also love his Italian restaurant chain and the beautiful way they are decorated. The only things I don't love are his crockery line at John Lewis, and in fact Jamie himself (well, not in any lusty sort of way!)! I moved out at 21 and after 3 months of microwave meals I started to cook, but I have only ever followed recipes. I have never actually started from the beginning and understood how to cook the basics. Consequently I don't actually know how to cook, or even how cooking works! So I have decided to teach myself, with lots of trial and error, how to cook. I intend to start with the very basics and go from there!
